Treuen / Neunkirchen, 4 May 2023. EMW Steel Service GmbH is expanding its existing building in Treuen. The ground-breaking ceremony for the new warehouse took place on 3 May. Commissioning is scheduled for October 2023. The expansion of capacity goes hand in hand with an increase in productivity and the importance of the location for deliveries to eastern Germany and neighbouring countries in Central Europe. In future, several trucks will be able to be loaded simultaneously. This will significantly speed up the entire loading process and reduce the time spent on the factory premises.
"Currently, production takes place in the existing industrial hall, where raw materials and finished products are also stored. Due to the steady growth at the Treuen site, investment in the extension has become absolutely necessary. The additional storage space will enable us to expand production and significantly reduce the waiting times for our haulage contractors. We are particularly pleased that we were able to award the majority of the construction work to local companies," explains Michael Mockenhaupt, Chairman of the EMW Management Board.
