We are proud to present ‘Molly’ - our latest electrically powered shunting locomotive from Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH. From now on, Molly will play a central role in material transport at our central warehouse in Weidenau, setting new standards in terms of efficiency and sustainability.

With the help of the latest addition to our electromobility strategy, up to approx. 4,000 tonnes of goods can be delivered just-in-time to our main site in Neunkirchen every day. Thanks to its impressive operating time of up to 16 hours and a short charging time of just 8 hours, it ensures smooth operations.

Like her sister locomotive ‘Emma’, which is already in operation in Neunkirchen, Molly is also powered entirely by green electricity. By using her, we can save around 18,000 lorry journeys every year. This not only means a noticeable reduction in road traffic, but also a considerable reduction in pollutant emissions.
